We are now able to pass these same values on to our customers through the Cobra Safety Consulting branch of our company. We are also now a full service training and safety consulting company offering a variety of services. Some of these include. We believe that to maintain a safe and professional working environment where employees can develop and grow, it is imperative that all Cobra field employees receive the necessary training and skill sets that they need to succeed in their industry. All field employees attend an OSHA compliance course annually which covers topics such as; BJSA/JSA’s, hand injury prevention, PPE, fall protection, LOTO, confined space awareness, haz-com, HAZWOPER, drug and alcohol awareness, active back awareness, fire prevention and fire techniques, respirators, H2S awareness, forklift training, decision driving, etc. Employees also receive an annual CPR/First Aid course. This is extremely important to our people due to the extreme distance from medical facilities that our employees may encounter. We believe that training our employees is one of the most important factors in retaining the professionals that we want working for our company and customers. We also have developed our own safety manual, which includes our company safety goals and general policies, specialized policies and procedures related to our industry, PPE that is required for our company, etc. Cobra Well Testers also believes that a drug free workplace is a safer and more productive workplace, and is absolutely committed to upholding this ideal. Therefore, we require pre-employment drug testing, random testing, reasonable suspicion, customer request, and post-accident testing. We currently use a mobile collector, On-Site Drug Screening, and Pipeline Testing Consortium Inc., for all of our drug tests. We do also employ a full time HSE supervisor to handle any and all safety, environmental, and training issues. We believe this puts us one step ahead of most within our line of business. This allows one individual to concentrate their time strictly on those important issues, whereas other companies sometimes lump safety and environmental issues on third parties or other management positions. We are also a PEC premier member and have a compliance score of 98%, which is considered above average. Please contact our HSE Supervisor with any questions.
